What is Axe Throwing?


We know it sounds a little crazy, but axe throwing is a fun and competitive sport, similiar to playing darts. There are several different games you can play during your session!




How much does it cost?


A one-hour session is $30 per person. A two-hour session is $50 per person. *For private parties or booking the venue, please contact info@skeggys.com.




Are there any restrictions on what I can bring to eat/drink?


UNTIL AUGUST 2021 - We are a BYO facility. While we allow you to bring beer, wine, and cider, we do NOT allow hard liquor. EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2021 - We will no longer allow BYO alcoholic beverages. They will be available for purchase at our on-site Boozeye Bar! We do not allow grills or any other cooking equipment inside the axe house.




How safe is axe throwing?


At Skeggy's, we're all about having fun, but safety is our #1 priority! Before your session, a coach will guide you on the proper ways to throw and axe, review all rules, and answer any questions. If we see anyone not complying with the rules, they will be asked to leave without refund.




What should I wear?


Wear whatever you are comfortable in. The only requirement is closed toed shoes.




What is the cancellation policy?


We have a 48 hour cancellation policy in which a full refund will be provided. *In the event of inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule your booking*




Will I be paired with other people or can I reserve a private lane?


Single lanes can hold up to 6 players and double lanes hold up to 12. Please note that you may be paired with other axe throwers when booking less than the lane minimum, because pairing is caring! If you do wish to reserve a private lane, you can do so during your reservation, but you will be charged for the lane minimum.




I'm booking several lanes... how can I ensure I'm close to my friends?


If you're booking a few lanes and want to be together, you can book in order from the followiong blocks. Section 1: Lanes 1-3 Section 2: Lanes 5-13 Section 3: Lane 14-18




Is there an age limit?


CURRENTLY UNTIL AUGUST 2021 - Children under 10 will not be allowed in the building. Participants 10 - 17 must have parent/guardian consent and supervision. BEGINNING AUGUST 1, 2021: - YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD TO ENTER OUR FACILITY ON THURSDAY, FRIDAY, and SATURDAY -YOU MUST BE 10 YEARS OLD TO ENTER OUR FACILITY ON SUNDAYS. Participants 10 - 17 must have parent/guardian consent and supervision.
